It was revealed recently by @DealsDrone that DJI RC remote controller would soon be compatible with the popular DJI Air 2S. The DJI AIR 2S undoubtedly promises the highest value for your money when it comes to popular camera drones. On the other hand, DJI RC is a very popular remote controller that is lightweight and features a built-in, bright screen that can get the job done flawlessly. On bringing DJI Air 2S and DJI RC together, you will have a nice package of a camera drone and a compatible remote controller for videography and aerial photography enthusiasts.

DJI RC promises an unparalleled experience

DJI RC remote controller promises an extraordinary operating experience when it comes to DJI drones. It features an FHD display, a lightweight body, and an ultra-long battery life. Its dual-spring control sticks promise a comfortable flying experience. Its advanced video transmission technology makes aerial content creation more convenient than it has ever been.

Major upgrade coming soon

DJI launched its RC drone remote back in May this year. This was a major upgrade from its RC-N1 controller which requires the user to connect the device to a smartphone for a first-person view flying experience. This is not something that everybody could appreciate as it came across as much of a hassle. However, as per the latest rumors, it could soon be compatible with the company’s Air 2S drone.

DJI RC features an FHD screen measuring 5.5 inches with brightness adjustable up to 700 nits. It weighs around 390g. the O3+ transmission allows low-latency 1080p/60p live video feed at a range of up to 15km. the dials and buttons could be customized for achieving an optimal experience and the dual-spring control promises smoother flights and maneuvers.

Air 2S model comes with a 20MP camera with a Type 1 CMOS sensor along with the ability to capture up to 5.1K/30p footage. It is more compact in comparison to the Mini 3 Pro and promises a flight time of up to 31 minutes in a single go. The firmware updates ensuring compatibility between the controller and Air 2s could arrive anytime this month.

DJI customer support confirms testing of RC controllers

As per @DealsDrone, the customer support team at DJI, China has already confirmed that the backward compatibility testing of the RC controller is almost nearing completion. The company could soon announce the official support for the Air 2S drone. Announcements would soon be made on the official support platform by the company anytime.

This is a major upgrade from the N1 controller that requires you to connect the device to the smartphone. However, the update would allow you to use the pro-friendly drone controller that comes with a 5.5-inch display. The device not just comes with dual-spring control sticks enabling smoother operations but also allows you to customize the dials and the buttons for a convenient flying experience. The best thing is that the DJI Fly app is also pre-integrated into the controller ensuring better controls.
